Updated Homecoming Parade info- this was an email sent to BHS parents.- From: Lucretia Jernigan To Burleson High School Recipients Today at 10:36 AM HOMECOMING PARADE!!!! Monday, October 6th Line-up : 5:00 pm @ Hughes MS Parade Start: 6:00 PM PEP Rally to Follow @ BHS It has been several years since the community has celebrated with a parade honoring Burleson High Schools homecoming. We are excited to announce that the homecoming parade is back on for 2014-15. The parade will be held on Monday, October 6th beginning at 6:00PM. Floats will line up at Hughes Middle School at 5:00PM. The parade route will follow residential streets from Hughes Middle School to Burleson High School. A community pep rally will be held at the Burleson High School Stadium at the end of the parade. We are excited to personally invite you to join in this community celebration. The entry fee for a float or walking group is only $25.00 if you register before September 29th. All proceeds from the parade will be going to Burleson High Schools Project Celebration which will be sponsoring a safe after prom party for this years seniors.
