Updates for Malaysianrally Round 2-Johor. Day 1: I did a silly mistake by turning in the wrong turn in SS1, and climb the mud bank when I try to U-turn back to the right road. Stupid and silly mistake that cost us a 5min penalty. Damaged the lower arm and tie rod. Drop to last overall. Day 2: Being positive and want to get back the time that we lost on day 1, we pushed hard, progressively we are able to get ourself back to 5th overall in day 2, 1 minute 11 sec off the 4th place driver. Despite having some mechanical problem with the alternator, we are able to fix it in the transport. The boys did a great job too in replacing the broken alternator. Day 3: The aim of the day is to climb to 4th overall. Started stage 1 of day 3 , able to cut the lead to 55sec. And bad luck struck us. Our DRIVE SHAFT BROKE on a fast right 6 corner, 2km+ to the finishing point. Our rally ended with a DNF, and drive shaft is on the road. Overall, its a good rally for the team as Karamjit Singh & Manohar Menon finished 1st Overall in the Malaysian Rally Championship and created history as the first 1.6 NA Proton Satria Neo ever to win a Malaysian Rally Championship overall position. Well done! As for us, me and Nicole Anne Perreau learnt so much in this rally, and there is more room for improvement and no room for mistake anymore. :D You did a great job Nicole! Special thanks to PROTON MOTORSPORTS, Gary Lee, Tengku Djan, the R3 boys for the support and a well prepared Proton Satria Neo 1.6 rally car. Thanks to my sponsors Pestle Mortar Clothing, PUMA, Tim Tham, Abs Lee Design. Sorry guys! Will do better next round. See you at Round 3- Negeri Sembilan Kenneth
