Updates from the Chief- Orion Township Fire Department just ran the largest call volume for one month, with the exception of December, where a large ice storm contributed to a large number of runs in a 24 hour period. We ran 210 calls in January! I want to give a great big shout-out to the men and women for their tireless effort. We saw our people, along with Star EMS, save a 2 month old girl, countless medicals and injury accidents. Another fact is they performed flawlessly during one of the coldest and snowiest months in history. I am so very proud of these people and the Orion Township citizens should be proud of these people who serve!
