Updates on Jasan Sangma cardiac transplant Got to see our son woke up after being sedated for almost 24 hrs. Though seen through the glass of ITU, glad that he could recognised and acknowledged us. According to hospital, he regained consciousness around 7 in the morning today and shown remarkable progress in recovery. Still sign of disorientation is there though. Were so glad and thankful to God for the quick progress Jasan is making right now. Later men behind the transplant Dr. Bhagirath and Dr. Rao themselves met us in the ward and informed that Jasan is stable and making a remarkable progress in recovery. They added the transplant was successful though they had some reservations initially but its not over yet they said as itll depend on how hell cope up during the post recovery period next few days. They were also amazed by the timing of the availability of the organ for Jasan inspite of all odds. They were happy that Jasan was strong and determined boy. At the same time, for the success of the transplant, lots of blood almost 21 units was reportedly utilised from the Hospital Blood Bank. So,the Blood Bank is requesting us to replenish if not the entire quantity but some so that if more blood is required for Jasan in case of surgery later there wont no problem. Blood required is A+ve, so as family of Jasan we would like to appeal to friends and well wishers whoever want to help and happen to be in Bangalore to come forward and help us with blood. No doubt It was an extremely very difficult medical procedure and it was emotionally trying and financially difficult moments for us as a family. But one thing is sure for us as a family no matter how big and how difficult a problem or solution may be but once again it was proved to us that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD for those who have trusted and committed everything to Him. We started a long and difficult journey from December 2012 ever since Jasans problem was detected but since then we could see that He never leave us nor forsake us and finally in his own sweet time He saved the best for Jasan at the most crucial time. Praise be His name always. Continue to pray for speedy recovery of Jasan and friends in Bangalore remember our need for blood. God bless you all.
