Upstate Equine Medical Center is at it again! Its stated mission is to provide exemplary care and service as well as provide educational opportunities to both clients and area veterinarians. To this end, Upstate Equine Medical Center has teamed with Nutrena Feeds and together they are hosting their sixth annual client educational seminar on Equine Nutrition. The seminar will take place on January 29, 2014 and begins at 7:00 pm. It will be held in the conference room at Upstate Equine Medical Center at 362 Rugg Road in Schuylerville, NY. Two speakers will be featured and the topics are particularly timely. Guest speaker Mr. Richard Kennedy of Nutrena Horse Feed will be lecturing on Winterizing Your Horse - Tips and Tools in the Severe Weather. Dr. Steven Sedrish of Upstate Equine Medical Center will present Emergency Care - What To Do BEFORE the Veterinarian Arrives - Dos and Donts to Stabilize Your Horse Upstate Equine Medical Center veterinarians will also be in attendance to address any questions. Goodie bags will be distributed to the first 50 arrivals and will include valuable coupons. The evening will conclude with the annual raffle with fabulous prizes and will serve as a further enticement to an evening event which is going to be both educational and of great benefit to area horses and horsemen. Snacks and beverages will be served as human nutritional needs should never be ignored! Last year’s event was attended by over 100 participants, and a good time was had by all.
