JOB DESCRIPTION 1.GENERAL POSITION INFORMATION Post: Accounts Executive Department or Unit: Finance Location: Bihar Immediate Supervisor: Accounts/ Finance Manager Position(s) directly subordinate: Accounts Assistant/ Asstt Accounts Compensation:Negotiable 2. Duties and Responsibilities As a member of the Finance Department, s/he will assist the department in day-to-day financial accounting, financial reporting, MIS, improving of the financial accounting processes, internal controls, reconciliations and the financial reporting systems. 3. Key responsibilities: 1. Independently carry-out the day-to-day financial accounting. 2. Preparing and maintaining vouchers, cheques, receipts etc. 3. Handling cash and maintaining records of receipt, payments and physical cash on hand. 4. Handling cheques, maintaining records of receipt, payment and bank balances. 5. Handling bank transactions, reconciliation of the same and proper maintaining of Bank Statements. Coordinating with banks for day-to-day banking functions. 6. Assisting CFO in preparation of Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Account and other financial reports. 7. Maintaining and reconciling ledgers, registers and all accounting records. 8. Collating financial data and preparations of returns as per the requirements of various funders, statutory authorities and the management. 9. Maintaining client ledgers, reconciling dues with actual receipt, overdue reporting and management. 10. Maintaining Insurance records and track renewals. 11. Coordinate with Internal Audit, Statutory audit, provide all information and records for smooth conduct of audit. 12. Maintaining record of repayments due to funders and keeping track and making loan repayments well within the due dates. 13. Funds management and transferring funds to/from the branches, reconciling inter- office transactions. 14. Managing Investments of surplus funds, keeping track of maturity, reconciling investment income. 15. Managing vendor/consultants payments and its recording. 16. Managing statutory dues, Income Tax, TDS, Service Tax etc. 4. Profile and Experience Academic Qualification Minimum of B.Com/M.Com Experience Relevant experience of minimum 2 years in accounts (Preference will be given to PG Degree holder in Accounts or Finance) • Experience in administrative and/or customer service • Excellent MS Office skills. • Experience in handling cash transactions will be considered as an advantage. • Knowledge of the financial services industry environment, exposure or knowledge of the microfinance sector will be considered an advantage. • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Must speak the local language and understand local conditions. • Desirable personality traits are the attention to detail, systematic and process oriented,pleasing personality and hygiene Send CV:- patna.omniresource@gmail
