Position: Manager / Dy. Manager- Personnel & Administration (P&A) Qualification: MBA/ PGDM/ MSW-HR Location: Sriperumbudur, Chennai Qualifications and Skill Requirements 1. Ensuring & monitoring all the statutory and legal compliance and registers required under various acts/rules (labour laws/factory act) 2. Ensuring & controlling for various inspections done by govt. authorities wrt statutory compliances and Developing liaison with govt./ Non govt. agencies. 3. Ensures harmonious employee/management relations by acting as a coordinator/facilitator 4. Ensuring & Addressing workers issues & concerns for harmonious by regularly visiting shop floor and plant areas 5. Maintaining discipline of the unit and initiates disciplinary actions if necessary 6. Manages correspondence wrt to court cases and other legal activities related to employee issues and acts a companys representative in the court 7. Maintains records and facilitates the legal advisor by providing necessary information/files 8. Ensuring and controlling the time office function including attendance, leaves, time in /out and related wages including monitoring of Time office functions of contractual employees through their supervisor. 9. Ensures new employee records are created and updates employee information in personnel files for employees up to supervisor level. 10. Manages complete Compensation & Benefits & Welfare activities of all the employees including updation & processing of Time office & Payroll management 11. Approves loans/advance proposals based on company policy and forwards those to F&A department for further processing 12. Identifies and reviews sourcing of contractors and verifies related to compliances and records 13. Ensuring casual manpower demand & supply position by continuously monitoring the productions plan and schedules 14. Understands employee grievances and work towards timely redressal in case of any issue 15. Negotiates with service providers such as transport and security wrt to facilities, cost and manages correspondence with them 16. Monitors and implements quality systems (EMS/OHSAS/5S) and related procedures in the unit 17. Manages weekly manpower planning based on production schedules for employees upto supervisor level 18. Attends daily review meeting with plant head to discuss any manpower related issues and concerns 19. Administers medical health check up plans and maintains records regarding employee health check up and declaration 20. Enables emergency preparedness through fire fitting provisions, safety/fire drills and layout audits 21. Monitors and updates group accident, group mediclaim policy if any 22. Ensures first aid awareness, evacuation plan and any other safety procedures awareness and trainings among employees 23. Manages and oversees canteen, housekeeping, uniform arrangements, security, transport, building, horticulture and administration of the unit 24. Monitors daily manpower report and attends to any issues/concerns as and when required like downtime due to manpower 25. Coordinates with all functions wrt quality initiatives like 5S, Kaizen, trainings 26. Reviews monthly ESI, PF challans and PF return reports 27. Reviews quarterly welfare returns and employment exchange reports, preparation of MIS and P&A Reports 28. Reviews and ensures payment for all returns as per factory act, PF and licenses annually 29. Coordinates with Pollution department regarding consent to operate and with Labour department for contract labor deployment 30. Ensure timely completion of Employee Engagement activities in coordination with Unit HR. 31. Co-ordinate all recruitment and selection related activities up to Supervisor level.
