Location: Karachi No. of Vacancies: 06 Experience: 3 Years (minimum) Salary: 70000 - 120000 Apply at: m.ali@objectsynergy Job Description: Solution Architecture · Create systems that are architected and designed to meet established and anticipated business functional, technical, performance and security requirements: · Map out how business requirements can be translated into a solution through a sound understanding of the business environment (from operations to infrastructure) to present solution to stakeholders · Understand and support software architecture design and work with a team to develop solutions · Estimate cost and prepare business cases for IT solutions considering infrastructure, licenses, development and support · Work with the project team to develop resource plans for implementation projects · Produce documentation that monitors progress and ensures quality outcomes Design and Development Ensure that the technical procedures, tools and ultimately the code produced by the team is high calibre and fit for purpose: · Own and direct full lifecycle development. (design, coding, testing, deployment as well as software documentation) · Collaborate with other CSS/JS/PHP/Java developers and business analysts to build and deploy software · Package and support deployment of releases · Analyse, troubleshoot and resolve technical and application problems · Adhere to high quality development principles while delivering solutions on time and on budget · With a broad understanding of various coding methodologies, review code, software development pattern, testing practices and tools to achieve desired outcome · Implement Agile development principles / approaches to meet business and quality objectives · Create and execute development plans across multiple projects and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements · Keep project manager well informed of status of development effort. Act as liaison between development staff and project manager and/or stakeholders across multiple projects. Quality Assurance · Manage the development and maintenance of software applications via internal and external supply · Leverage Cloud computing solutions as appropriate · Provide assurance of quality, system sustainability, user suitability and capability across all applications used in the business Team / Distributed Team Management · Responsible for mentoring and leadership of the development team. Including people management, task delegation, troubleshooting and problem escalation, reporting and triage of issues, monitoring success factors and generating development reports for weekly and monthly reviews. · Inspire and develop a high performing internal IT team so that goals, values and objectives are shared with solutions and outcomes delivered in an environment that aims to exceed expectations · Contribute to the front end planning and research to review and potentially integrate outsourcing scenarios with the broader team / functions · Leverage strategic outsourcing to improve overall service and function.
