Urvashi Thackeray, the daughter of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray, on Monday put out a controversial tweet abusing Dalit icon Dr BR Ambedkar, the framer of the Constitution, by a caste name, which is punishable under the provisions of the SCs and STs (Prevention of Atrocities) Act 1989. She had used the caste name in her tweet which said, SC/ST ----- like Ambedkar can have a memorial than why not for a great leader like Balasahed Thackeray!!! The tweet came on the second death anniversary of the late Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray who is also her grand-uncle.
