Use paused pulls to work on your balance and build time under tension in key positions. Ollie has a habit of raising his hips before his shoulders due to a combination of weak quads and learning to keep his weight on his heels. We cued him to try and keep his weight flat and keep his shoulders over the bar instead of in front of the bar Although he deadlifts close to 200kg we had to drop the weight down to 60kg before the drill worked as intended! Even then you can still see him fighting hard for position. The ROI on this drill is HUGE.
