Credit Cards All major credit cards are accepted in larger establishments in Saudi Arabia. Currency Foreign currency can be exchanged at any bank. The monetary unit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the Saudi Riyal (SR), and the exchange rate is US$ 1 = 3.75 SR. Note: These currency exchange rates are not updated daily and should be used as a guideline only. Air Travel Riyadh is well connected to most major cities around the world with a wide selection of airlines serving the King Khaled International Airport. Dialing Code The international dialing code for Saudi Arabia is +966 The Saudi Arabia Time Zone is GMT + 3 hrs Accommodation Riyadh offers a number of renowned hotels and most international chains have a hotel in Riyadh. However, exhibitors are recommended to make reservations at an early stage by contacting the hotel of their choice directly or through their travel agent. Please note that a list of hotels can also be provided by the organizers. Bus Service A courtesy shuttle bus service will operate between the main hotels and the exhibition center. Passports & Visa Requirements All foreign visitors to Saudi Arabia need a valid Entry Visa to the Kingdom. Visitors should obtain a Visit Visa from the Saudi Embassy in their country of residence before traveling to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (please allow up to 4 weeks for visa application processing). Important: Please note the following points Visas are required for all visitors with the exception of travelers holding a passport from Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar or the UAE. Visas can be obtained through Saudi Arabian Embassies.
