Using very little wood per night at this point, maybe 10 pieces to - TopicsExpress

Using very little wood per night at this point, maybe 10 pieces to keep the furnace going. The heat exchangers are not even coming on but the bleed off from the circulating tubes is enough to keep the greenhouse warm when night temps are in the upper 50s low 60s. I will shut it off after the farm tour. It is only necessary to keep black spots of an infection called botryotis off the Phal flowers until after the Farm Tour. The plants in general can take temps into the mid 50s without problems and I could probably have turned the heat off a few weeks ago, but Phal flowers cant be allowed to have black spots for the farm tour next weekend. So the wood furnace is shutting down very soon and because the winter was so VERY cold, I think I used about 30 cords. Which must all be replaced. In an average winter I think I will use about 20 cords. Pictured is about 8 cords already being processed for stacking. This is for the 2015/2016 heating season. Wood for this coming winter is already split, stacked and baking dry in my 40 cord plastic covered quanset hut wood shed. This is the proof I am insane you all have been waiting for. Please inform the gentlemen coming with the butterfly nets that they may encounter a fit old man wielding a sharp ax.
