Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh! ^ thats my frustration and anger at these people that are labeling the homeless that just got mercilessly displaced this weekend drug addicts and drunks and that they have shelters that are available .... just sooooooo frustrating - not all homeless are drug addicts or drunks .. its a possibility but thats not for you to decide .. mental health issue run rampant as well among the homeless ...... shelters are ALWAYS full this time of year ... Side story - for those of you people familiar with Henrietta in the wegmans/Walmart/marketplace mall area you may be familiar with the homeless gentleman that walks all day everyday and collects those cans and bottles ... Ive actually talked to him before and bought him some food and coffee over at the Tim Hortons ... he isnt a drug addict or drunk (a little odd in the head maybe but still a nice friendly guy) .. he refuses to go to the shelters out of fear .. THATS where the drug addicts like to be .. inside warm without a care in the world ... this guy doesnt want to live in the deplorable conditions and be robbed of what little he does have and run the risk of getting hurt ..... so he has a tent in Henrietta which is basically the same thing as the village that got stripped - hes content as far as I can tell .... just these heartless ignorant goons who can pass judgement from their warm houses and secure jobs (yes I realize I am being judgemental :( .....) And to answer the inevitable, yes I will be doing what I can in a bit .. but I think thats why Im so heated because I could have easily been in that position if I hadnt had a family to help me .... so yes I will start walk-in my talk ... /rant
