V/S/&P .....According to the D M S R Biography , Prince had been engaged to Susan Moonsie of Vanity 6 , then later dated Vanity . The women were in the same music group Vanity 6 . The book also says Vanity would get jealous when Prince came on their tour bus and asked for Susan . Susan knew him before the success and eventually broke off the engagement . It also states after Prince & Susan had a huge fall out , thats when he wrote When Doves Cry about her .
