Northumberland County Sheriffs Office is accepting applications for the following positions: Full-time Deputy Sheriff, Part-time certified Deputy Sheriff, Full-time Dispatcher, Part-time Dispatcher. ALL applicants MUST be available to work any shift, night or day, and weekends as well as holidays. Full-time Deputy Sheriff Duties include law enforcement, service of criminal and civil process, and operating the courts. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid drivers license and be able to pass a physical agility and written examination, as well as pass a background check. Prior law enforcement experience and training is preferred and starting salary is commensurate with certification and credentials. Please note, PREVIOUS applicants will need to re-apply.
