You will be responsible for the smooth operation of the theatre, and ensuring that Blackwood Miners Institute is a safe, welcoming and vibrant space for visitors, audiences and artists. You will be responsible for the day to day operation of the theatre and its facilities, ensuring that the theatre is compliant with current licensing and health and safety legislation. You will also be responsible for the profitability of the front of house and bar operations. You will have previous experience of working in a customer facing operational role in an arts or cultural venue, or other hospitality environment, and you should have experience of managing people and managing budgets. You should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong IT skills, and excellent customer care skills.
