VACANCY Kubwa Diocesan Development And Welfare Services (KDDWS) Kubwa Diocesan Development and Welfare Services is the development and welfare arm of the Anglican Diocese of Kubwa. KDDWS is a faith based organization working in partnership with Christian Aid Nigeria and other donor agencies to enlighten and empower basically rural populace through awareness creation, to fight against poverty (through OVC project), Water Sanitation and Hygiene and, HIV/AIDS and other preventable diseases within our communities in Abuja. KDDWS is seeking to recruit a finance and administrative Officer who will establish and maintain financial and management procedure of KDDWS. FAO reports to the Programme Coordinator/Director. The position is a full time position. Job Title: Finance and Administrative Officer Based: Abuja, Nigeria Duration: Open Ended Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements as relating to standard financial procedures and KDDWS� regulations. Ensure proper financial administration, monitoring and control. Advise on the proper allocation of resources. Ensure that all financial reporting obligations are met in relation to submissions Make regular report on income, expenditure, and any variations from budget Perform other functions that may be directed by the coordinator Requirement A degree/HND in Accountancy Good computer knowledge especially on excel Good inter-personal skills, hard working Ability to work without supervision Thorough Knowledge, understanding and experience in professional accounting principles, theories, practices and terminology At least three (3) years working experience as an accounts officer with a reputable NGO.
