VACANCY: Nature Conservancy Eastern Caribbean Programme Manager, Grenada. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The Eastern Caribbean Program Manager is responsible for project management, partner relations, staff supervision and project development for the Grenada location. S/he will work for the protection, conservation or stewardship of marine and coastal resources and protected areas in the countries of the Eastern Caribbean, including Grenada, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, the Grenadines, Dominica, St. Kitts and Nevis and Antigua and Barbuda. S/he is also responsible for ensuring that Conservancy in-country infrastructure and activities meet specific country legal, labor and tax requirements in Grenada. S/he will have supervisory span of control of employees located in Grenada and may directly supervise certain individuals. Primarily s/he will implement various projects including coastal resilience, effective management of protected areas, expansion of marine protected area network, marine spatial planning, conservation finance and ecosystem based climate adaptation. S/he will work closely with the Eastern Caribbean Director to manage partner relations in the region in order to ensure effective implementation of the Conservancy’s programs. These partners include government officials and Ministers, regional and international partner organizations and local NGO and community groups.
