VACANCY (x2) | Advanced Hairdressing Apprentice & Advanced Beauty Therapy Apprentice Grade: Apprentice Rate, £2.65 per hour (Subject to JE) Location: Worksop North Notts College is ambitious for its learners and its staff. As a ‘Good’ department striving for excellence, we need two Apprentices who are committed to carrying out services to the highest quality, being innovative and using own initiative to deliver the best possible experience for our clients, whilst learning new skills to enhance their career in the industry. We are seeking to appoint two Apprentices to work in our evolving Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy Department. The role will include studying as an Advanced Apprentice at Level 3 in Hairdressing or Beauty Therapy. You will carry out services and treatments under supervision on paying clients in the salons as part of your apprenticeship, work on the busy reception desk dealing with the Hair and Beauty clients, assist in maintaining the cleanliness and professionalism in the salons whilst adhering to Health and Safety guidelines and act as an Ambassador for Insync Hair and Beauty salons. You will have some knowledge of Hairdressing and/or Beauty Therapy, a qualification in one of the fields is essential at Level 2 or equivalent. Good communication skills are essential as this role requires working with the public and other stakeholders, you will also have excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build working relationships with colleagues.
