VEIL OF PERCEPTION Is perception merely a play of consciousness – a phenomenon that simultaneously projects and comprehends the external world as a holographic reality? Deepak Ranade says that different Loci in the brain are activated to perceive visions of enlightenment and perceive matter and reality simultaneously. Or, is it a form of energy that manifests in different shapes by modulating its frequency and amplitude, and light energy that defines and marks out the space illusion? Is it the images of inner vision, yantras of light with color and pigments of our consciousness? In France, researchers used an interferometer at the Institute Laue – Langirin in Grenoble, where a neutron beam was passed through a silicon crystal, sending it down two different paths – separating them from the magnetic path. Consciousness is traditionally attributed to our neural networks. In retrospect, consciousness is like a train entering a dark tunnel at night, where the headlights initially scatter the darkness then fade and is sucked into the darkness of the night to remerge as one beam path only. It is quite intriguing to note that even a single celled amoeba is conscious and takes appropriate measures to feed and avoid any hostile milieu.
