VERY long, please read all. And we got allocated for WoL at Chimera. Could have been worse, but I still have to limit the number of spots. Here are the list of people eligible: Chris B. Matt W. The tournament will be Sunday June 8th. 11:00 AM Boosters handed out at 11:30 Starts at 12:00 2 War of Light boosters 400pts $40 entry (yes, thats expensive, Ill explain why below). Here are the rules. 1) You MUST get back to me by private message before next weekend to confirm (in the case of Joey, Matt H can let me know)(I dont think Bob is on here yet, so Chris can let me know, or he can ask to join). 2) You MUST have a Wizkids account. Easy enough to get one if you dont have one, but it is needed for reporting purposes (Wizkids is being real strict on this (part of the reason we got allocated)). If youre not sure how, send me a message. 3) You have to be there on time on the 8th. Once boosters are handed out, nobody else will be allowed to enter. 4) No proxy players. Having your buddy, aunt, 34th cousin twice removed, etc come play for you will not be allowed. 5) You have to play all 5, 30 min rounds. Dropping out isnt an option because... 6) At the END of the tournament, ALL the figures will be drafted based on standings. It will be a snake draft with 1st place picking first, fellowship second, then 2nd through however many people, then back the other way. Example: first, fellowship, 2-10, 10-2, fellowship, first, first, etc... Exceptions to this are chase figures and rings. Chase figures are protected. Meaning you can choose, WHEN YOU TURN IN YOUR BUILD SHEETS, to have the Chase figure be your first choice in the draft, no matter where you place. You can also chose to risk the Chase figure if there may be another figure you want more and think you could end up getting instead. The choice does have to be made beforehand though. If you pull a ring, it is yours. They are extras in the boosters so they dont take a slot. Constructs will be kept with the figure they come with. Primes and Super Rares are not protected, they go into the draft at the end. Now, the reason it is so much is because we received 2 OP kits, but the amount of boosters we received two cover months one AND two, is barely covering one. So unless we end up getting more boosters for next month (dream big I always say), month two will end up being constructed. Everybody listed above will receive a Green Lantern battery, the participation figure (Rond Vidar), the crossbow object, and I believe a map. Prizes (Larfleeze)will be for 1st, 2nd, Fellowship for sure. And I may have enough for 4 more people (given out at my discretion). There is also the possibility of a bonus depending on the number of players who show up. Now for what may be a bit of controversy. I will be playing if we end up with an odd number (which happens to be what numbered figures are in wave one) of players. I will not be eligible for the prizes, however I will be eligible for first overall for drafting purposes. If we end up with an even number of players, I am still buying two boosters, but they will not be included in the draft. The only reason Im doing this is because I dont have another venue I can go to and play at to get any of the figures. (Good thing I dont want tons of them, and most are wave 2 (Dex-Starr, you will be mine!!!). If there are questions, please feel free to send me a pm.
