VERY productive afternoon. After riding Lego, teaching Janice, riding Angel, teaching Robin Planner Holden - we jumped in the trailer and hauled out of here. Went and looked at an Andalusian horse for my sister Kate Schmidt-Hopper - REALLY liked him. Did NOT expect to. But he was beautiful, well balanced and pretty sweet. His legs show a LOT of wear and tear for an 8 yr old horse (oh damn, I forgot to look at his teeth to verify!) Anyway, moves sound but was a little ouchy on rocky ground - not that you could see it, but I could feel it. But they had just pulled his shoes - so I told the seller to get him reshod before we look at him again. Because we Will go look again. Jack is uploading the video! Then I dropped off a horse to a dealer to sell, and then I got to buy a used Wintec dressage saddle. All of this was in the Riverside area! Then Jack and I had a nice lunch at Farmer boys burgers - and I am SOOO stuffed. Now I am going out to work with Rachel and Liberty - and I will probably ride Rainey along with her. Tomorrow I will try the new saddle on Louie! It hs the changable gullet so I KNOW I can set it up to fit him! I hope I like it too!!!
