VETERAN journalist Arnold Kapelembi, 65, has died. Mr Kapelembi, who was Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC) board member, died in Solwezi yesterday. ZNBC board chairman John Mulwila said Mr Kapelembi is survived by four children and a wife. He was appointed ZNBC board member in December last year. Mr Kapelembi joined Times of Zambia as a reporter in 1974. He rose to the position of editor and later served as marketing manager at the same institution. He was later appointed managing director of the Times of Zambia. After retirement, he served as commissioner of the Human Rights Commission.
