VETERANS ALERT There may be a person going around the Staten Island area asking WWII Vets to fill out a form with personal information and telling them they will get a letter and a gift from the President. This is bogus and apparently has been going on for over a year. Please pass the word to all the posts and as many veterans as you can, that this is a scam to collect veterans’ data and possibly steal their identity. No veteran should give out their personal information to anyone outside the VA or their benefits counselor.
