VICTORY! Despite my elaborate outlines, detailed plotting charts and best intentions, I never do know the linch pin clue that Hiro needs to have his EUREKA moment until the second draft of each new novel. (Weird but true.) Tonight, the final piece fell into place, with a startling ease that made me wonder why my subconscious insists on waiting this long to reveal what it clearly already knew. Regardless ... I have slain the wiggly plot-hydra with my trusty safety razor. Now, I shall celebrate with pizza and a cookie.
