VICTORY!!! Well today my wife and I had an appointment with the oncologist. He revealed the results of our cat scan and the pathology report from her mastectomy. It was real good news. WE ARE CANCER FREE!!! This is the best news we have heard in a long time. We still have a long road ahead of us and at least one more surgery. Her oncologist is referring us to the Medical College Of Georgia for us to go talk to another oncologist to see if there is anything that can be learned from her type of cancer since it is so rare. There maybe a study she can be apart of so that maybe the doctors can learn more and possible help some one else in the future with her type of cancer. Plus we have to do follow up appointments to make sure she stays cancer free. We had a big victory today but the road is still long. Please keep her in your prayers. Thanks Shawn
