VIDEO/STORY UPDATE: INTERVIEWS w/RESIDENTS... Many area residents in the area woke up Thursday to the sound of a train derailment in downtown Uniontown. A couple of the seven Southwest Pennsylvania Railroad cars that derailed at the Penn Street crossing rest on their sides in the front yards of homes, the closest about three feet from a front porch. Yet, luckily, no one was injured in the 7:30 a.m. derailment. Herald-Standard visual journalist Robert Gillispie caught up with several residents who were glad this incident wasnt worse.
