VIDEO TWO (Part One in comments) My brother Saad Khan aka Saad Ibn Mansur, has started a video series discussing the history and development of some of the mainstream Shia groups, something he and many of us had the opportunity to study with Sh Yasir Qadhi. Brother Saad will be using this knowledge and other sources of information for the forthcoming series. Hopefully it will educate the Sunni Muslims regarding the history and development of the different Shia movements whilst also presenting the Sunni understanding of important ahadith and historical accounts. The purpose of these videos are not to cause dispute with the Shia, but to understand why and how they erred, and how these *political* disputes finally snowballed into what we now know as Shiism, a different theology and shariah, something very different to how it all started out.
