VIEW (Voices of the Indian English Writers) is a refereed journal and is going to be published by Author Press , New Delhi annually. The Journal strives to publish work of high quality in Literature written in English Language across the World, particularly on English literature and English writings across the globe. Writers preferably from India and or even from outside India writing in English on any topic of Indian, American, British, Australian, Canadian, or Latin American literature can contribute to this journal . The aim of the journal is to give space to scholars and researchers to publish their works. We are always keen to receive submissions from scholars, academicians and researchers in the form of Research Papers, Articles, Poems, Short Stories, Interviews and Book Reviews. Submissions are accepted all the year. The work should be unpublished and not have been submitted elsewhere for publication. Paper size: A4, Font size: Times New Roman 12, Spacing: single line, Margin 1 inch on all four sides. • Title of the paper: bold, Sentence case (Capitalize each word), centered. • Text of the paper: justified. • References: Please follow latest MLA (2009 edition) style (Only Author-Date or Number System) strictly. Don’t use Foot Notes, use End Notes. • Titles of books: Italics. Titles of articles from journals and books: “quoted”. • The paper should not usually exceed 10 pages maximum, 6 pages minimum in single spacing. • All manuscripts must be accompanied by i) A declaration that it is an original work and has not been published or sent for publication anywhere else. ii) Abstract of paper in about 100-200 words and key words (Max. 10). iii) Full Paper ( 3000-5000 words). Those who want to send the full paper must send the abstract along with it. iii) A short bio-note of the contributor(s) indicating name, institutional affiliation, brief career history, postal address, mobile number and e-mail, and also a photograph. Articles are preferably to be sent via email.Please do not send more attachments. iv) Furnish the info on a separate sheet along with your paper and submit as a single attachment. The papers submitted should reflect serious academic work offering new insights or innovative critical perspectives on the subject explored. Plagiarism Alert: All submissions should be original. Contributors are advised to adhere to strict academic ethics with respect to acknowledgment of original ideas borrowed from others. The editor(s) / publisher will not be responsible for any lapse on the part of the contributor. The soft copies must reach the Editorial Board by 31st August for the first Issue to be published in October,2013. One hard copy is required after final intimation regarding selection of the paper for the Journal for record which may be sent to Chief Editor in the following address : Chairperson, 419, Dum Dum Road, Dum Dum Motijheel College PG Campus, Kolkata-700074, West Bengal. After selection, the Editorial Board will send the copy to Authorpress, New Delhi. Selection Procedure: Final selection will be made after the papers are recommended by the referees. Contributors of selected papers will be informed by email. The Editorial Board reserves the right to make required editorial modifications. Papers not selected for publication will not be returned. So, all contributors are advised to retain a copy of their submissions. Contributions of the members of the Journal are preferred.
