VISION - White Red and Black Masks I was talking to a friend of mine over the last couple of days, discussing the issue of lies being perpetuated by small cover-ups, when suddenly a clear picture shot across my vision. I saw at the same time three masks: one white, one red and one black. The Lord impressed on me this revelation: The white mask is who we want others to believe we are and who we can be, the red who we often are and what we do, the black is who we can become as the result of what we do. Then He told me White and black are at different ends of the spectrum of life and how we live it, whilst the red mask symbolises for a lot of us, our walk. The nature of who we are causes us to sin, to lie, and shed others blood by that sin, that lie, but also causes a bleeding in us. If left unattended, if allowed to continue, the shed blood will turn us into darkness and it will cause us to become so hardened to truth, that we will cover ourselves with sin and more lies, and remove ourselves from He after whom we seek. White also speaks of a covering-up of those things that need to be revealed before His Holy grace. Hidden is only a temporal thing anyway as all things will be revealed in the day of reckoning. My encouragement is for ALL of us to do what is right not in our own eyes, but doing what is right according to the standard of His Holy word, thereby keeping us accountable. If you are prone to lying, know that you are not alone, but seek help and repent and be grounded wholly and holy in Him. It’s a hard thing to stand strong in truth under the weight of being told to be PC and to conform, to cover up or protect someone in sin. I would rather be wounded for my Abba Daddy than to compromise for lies, or be complicit, even if it means being ostracised from family.
