VITRI will organize a Public Seminar on 13.8.2014: REDD+: Dead or Alive? The role of forests and land use in climate negotiations In this seminar, the current situation and future prospects of REDD+ and role of forests and land use in the future climate change deal are discussed by Finnish and international scientists, experts, and by climate negotiators and policy makers. The topic will be covered from all possible sides including governments, international organizations, NGOs, academic world and private sector. The seminar consists of presentations made by invited speakers and of a panel discussion.
