VJI: Apparently there is a lot of dog poisoning going on in Verwoerdpark amongst other places. If you are a victim, please notify the SAPS. I know they dont always want to know but its important they are informed. One of the best ways of keeping your dogs safe is to allow them to sleep inside. This has many benefits, including the fact they now know to protect both the garden and the house. In addition, they are less likely to be poisoned and they will often alert you to any suspicious noise earlier than if they are outside. While its not foolproof, its a good solution and if you dont want the dogs in the whole house, let them sleep in the kitchen or other safe area. They would give their life for you so surely you can give them something in return.
