VOTE for ELLA GILLIN! Congratulations to Sharon Elementary 3rd grader Ella Gillin who was recently named one of the Top 3 Finalists in the country for the Clif Bar Kids Summer Backyard Games contest for her game called Shadow Jumpers. She invented the game to pass the time while waiting for the school bus to pick her up in morning. A panel of judges selected the top 3 finalists based on creativity, uniqueness and probability that it was created by a kid. If Ellas game receives the most likes/votes” on the CLIF KIDS Facebook site, she will win a $10,000 scholarship, a $3,500 backyard party and a new bike! The voting started Monday, JULY 21 and runs through Monday, JULY 28 at 5 p.m. One vote each day per Facebook address (so people could really vote up to 7 times!).
