VS Core Inc. is proud to be in partnership with Canadahelps.org. We would like to wish our affiliate Lee MG a very happy birthday. This year, all she asks is for people to show their cores and donate to this worthy cause. All efforts are very much appreciated: Hi everyone, I would really appreciate it if you take some time to read the following. This is something I wrote to give you an idea of why I have created a giving page on Canadahelps.org. Ive heard many people say that life is short, but I disagree. What I do believe is life can sneak up on us and fly by in what feels like a heartbeat. Both my grandfathers have had, what seems to me, a long life (although a long life will never be long enough when it comes to one’s family). Over the years, I have been captivated by my grandfathers’ stories of past triumphs, mischievous adventures and proud moments. Stories from their childhood and their careers; the stories that made me laugh, made me proud, inspired me, and most of all the stories that made me believe anything was possible. But, no one ever thinks about the day they won’t be able to pick up the phone and call a loved one to simply say hi. According to the Canadian Cancer Society, Cancer is the leading cause of death in Canada and is responsible for about 30% of all deaths. One of my grandfathers was diagnosed with esophagus cancer and was successful in beating the awful disease. My other grandfather has been diagnosed with 4 different types of cancer. He kicked three to the curb but has recently been diagnosed with a tumour that is inoperable. I may sound selfish in saying this, but I think it’s unfair to have my grandfather’s life all of a sudden have a timeline and cut short. Family is something you should never take for granted. I have a supportive and loving family, and I’m honestly very lucky. This year for my 22nd birthday, on March 25th, I have decided that the perfect gift would be asking my family and friends to please donate to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. I’m starting this giving page early to hopefully make my goal of $1000. This giving page is dedicated to those who have successfully fought cancer; to those who are living with it and to the families who are keeping a positive attitude for their loved ones who are still fighting it. Please click the link below to donate. Thanks! https://canadahelps.org/GivingPages/GivingPage.aspx?gpID=32431 Thanks again, Lee Graham
