*** VSC BREAKING NEWS *** *** WILDFIRES IN SWEDEN & USA *** Whilst we endure frosty mornings and the occasional cold front, spare a thought for those in Sweden and north west USA where wildfires are raging out of control. In Sweden, the large wildfire is ravaging dense forest and emergency services are saying it could take weeks to get under control. One person has unfortunately lost their life and more than 1,000 people had to be evacuated from villages in the province of Vastmanland. The wildfire is said to be the worst in modern day history. Meanwhile in north west USA, eight fire fighters were burned while battling blazes in California. Thousands of firefighters are involved in trying to contain the fires and Australia has sent personnel over to assist.
