Vacancies CHEMICAL OPERATIONS LEARNERSHIP: 2015 Buckman is inviting applications for a CHEMICAL OPERATIONS LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME in 2015. The Chemical Operations Learnership applicants must: Be locally based (reside in Hammarsdale and within close proximity of the Company - Please provide proof of address); Have Matric with Maths, English and Physical Science; Be unemployed youth, between the ages of 18 to 35; Be without any form of qualification; Be willing to work overtime and shifts; Have a positive, results-driven attitude; Be a team player who is highly ethical, principle-driven, committed and dedicated; Be able to demonstrate the ability to follow procedures and work safely; Take responsibility for their own transport arrangements to travel to and from work. All applicants who meet the above criteria will be required to undergo a series of job related assessments to establish suitability for placement. Successful candidates will be notified by telephone within a week of having completed all assessments. Interviews for this programme will start in January 2015 and the 1 year placement will be effective from 1 February 2015. Successful applicants will be placed in the Manufacturing Department (Hammarsdale) for a period of one (1) year beginning February 2015 to January 2016. This appointment will run from January to June 2015. Candidates require 3 years related experience and/or training, effective communication and time management skills and the ability to work under pressure. In addition, they must be willing to work overtime as and when required. A driver’s license, computer literacy and good command of the English language is a necessity. A Business Administration Diploma/Degree or similar is required. The incumbent have proven experience and will be responsible for the following inter alia: Providing administrative support to the General Manager and Management.
