Vacancies : Project Engineer JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • To understand project policy for safety, schedule, cost and quality and support Project Manager to achieve them on all site activities. • To coordinate various trades in relation to all the construction works. • To check for discrepancy between design and construction drawings. • To ensure site activities executed in accordance with specifications budget and time schedules. • To ensure the constructions are as per approved design and use of materials etc. • To liaise with subcontractors/suppliers and clients. • To monitor, supervise and report on the performance of the subcontractors and suppliers. • To jointly prepare with the specialist subcontractors, the various work method statements and/or Safe Operating Procedures when required. • To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the superior. REQUIREMENT: • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent. • Good communication & interpersonal skills • Highly self-motivated, good working attitude with a high level of professionalism and integrity • Initiative, able to work in a team, willing to learn and work independently. • Good team player and adaptable to a dynamic environment • Good analytical and strategic thinking capabilities; • Excellent problem solving abilities. • Good command of Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia. • Possess own transport and willing to travel outstation. • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in building & construction is required.
