Vacancy Job Title: Senior Reservoir Engineer (Scal/Pvt) Location: ADCO Abu Dhabi Minimum Qualification Bachelor Degree Description: The Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil operations (ADCO) functions throughout onshore development sites as well as in the shallow coastal waters of Abu Dhabi. The Company was incorporated in 1978 to oversee operations in onshore concession areas covering approximately 21,000 square kilometers including five of the most important mainland oilfields in the region. During the first quarter of 2006, the inauguration of the North East BAB has been started. Brief Description Purpose and Scope Carries out routine reservoir engineering functions as assigned and attends well surveillance operations when required to provide guidance in test procedures or immediate analysis of results. Receives and calibrates pressure test elements and ensures timely updating of well data, charts, plots and data files. Contributes to the development of depletions strategy of assigned reservoirs in conjunction with more experienced team members. Undertakes routine studies to attain stated objectives and translate results into operational guidelines. Job Requirements - Minimum of MSc in Chemical / Petroleum Engineering _ Industry-recognized authority in PVT with in-depth theoretical and practical experience. - Industry-recognized authority in PVT with in-depth theoretical and practical experience. - More than 15 years experience in the petroleum industry, including 4 years in leading and managing multi-disciplined staff within the petroleum development function, covering advanced PVT/EOR, EOS development, SCAL (miscible/near miscible core flooding), and a history of delivery at an excellent level of performance. - Working knowledge and understanding of the capabilities and limitations of various PVT software and tools. Familiarity with vendors’ capabilities. - Awareness of budgetary control and procedures. - Dynamic, self motivated, excellent oral and written communication, leadership and interpersonal skills. - Proven track record in technology application and transfer to operations. - Demonstrated ability in coaching and mentoring new hires.
