Vacancy Notice for Senior Maintenance Engineer (Static) Duties and Responsibilities: • Act as technical expert or authority on subject matters related to Mechanical Static equipment in all aspect and phases of work i.e. conceptualization, engineering and design, fabrication, installation, construction etc. until final handover and acceptance of assigned projects or tasks. • Perform basic calculations i.e. thickness, MAWP, stresses etc either to support technical recommendations or to prove equipment operational suitability. • Conceptualize work to be done or action to be taken based on plant operational trending, equipment conditions, consultant & OEM recommendations, periodic requirements etc. • Formulate scope of work to support Service Order, bidding, Work Order etc. • Write tender papers, bidding documents, techno-commercial reports, technical recommendations etc. • Review and approve all related vendor data, proposals, technical papers, calculations etc. • Lead and guide junior engineers and transfer know how. • Act as company representative in meetings, gatherings etc. as required. • Assess subordinates (Staff Performance Management, etc.) • Assist subordinates in performing day to day task. Qualifications/Experience required: • B.S. Mechanical Engineering graduate. • 15 years of experience in Oil and Gas Industry in field Engineering, Fabrication, Construction, Testing and Commissioning in both brownfield and new field applications including maintenance, operations and major plant shutdown and start up scenarios. • Mastery of Industry Code & Standards related to Pressure Vessels, Pressure Piping, Welding, Non Destructive Testing, Valves, fittings, materials etc. • Able to perform basic manual code calculation as well as using any computer software. • Mastery of technical drawing interpretations in design, fabrication, construction, installation and commissioning. • Able to interpret computer generated calculations for vessels and piping. • Able to understand interface from other disciplines i.e. instruments, mechanical, electrical and process. • Able to formulate technical decisions and recommendations at site. • Good command of the English language in both oral and written with application in formulating technical & contractual paper, proposals, scope of works, bidding documents, evaluation reports etc. and oral presentations. • Able to perform technical evaluations of vendor proposals, material substitutions & suitability. • Able to formulate implementation planning and able to interpret computer generated work time schedule. • Able to interpret contractual papers for implementations. In addition to the above requirement, candidate should have: • Good communication and inter-personal skills. • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office software. • Fluent in written and spoken English. • Good analytical skills.
