Vacancy Vacancy Vacancy Program Officers at Partnership 4 Advocacy in Child and Family Health Project Partner 4 Advocacy in Child and Family Health Project, a new internationally funded development project seeks the candidates for immediate placement in a new Abuja office to manage an innovative advocacy in Child and Family Health Project implemented exclusively through indigenous Nigerian CSOs: Job Title: Program Officer Location: Abuja Duties and Responsibilities An efficient Program Officer with a capacity for independent effort is required to carry out the following duties in the new program:  The Program Officer will develop, operationalize and revise project work- plans to ensure that activities are carried out as and when scheduled. Establish an effective information management system. Review, improve and operationalize the projects consultants management data base Review and establish improved mechanisms, guidelines and operating principles for project management; Produce activity and periodic reports. Participate in project researches making sure that scientific principles are followed at all times; and prepare the project management systems for portfolio reviews and evaluation. Requirements The ideal candidate must have a Post Graduate Degree in Public Health or the Social Sciences At least 4 years experience in Development Programming with particular reference to child and family health sector; Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Strong report writing ability as well as technical approaches to data analysis and data presentation. Ability to be systematic, develop and work with work-plans and significant technical orientation; and must have a high capacity for independent effort but at the same time be able to delegate responsibilities effectively. Remuneration Candidate will be engaged through a renewable annual contract over 3 year life of the project. There will be a 3-6 month probationary/consultancy period.
