Former Minister and Member AICC Abdul Gani Vakil today said that people of this country must go for introspection before casting their vote and need of the hour demands that they must understand the outcome of bringing to power communal and fanatic forces. He said that handing over country to extremists will neither be a fruitful decision nor in the interest of the country at any stage. Mr. Vakil reiterated that Indias existence as well as future integration is exclusively dependent on secular ideology because its birth is rooted in religious tolerance and secular credentials. Since independence Congress party has always devoted itself to maintain and upheld the sovereignty and integrity of India and never allowed communal ideology to invade into or prosper and said that God forbid if BJP wins it will put Indias existence into danger. Mr. Vakil was addressing Sevadal Congress workers at Gandhi Nagar Jammu. Function was presided over by Chief J&K Sevadal Balwinder Singh Sambyal Congress Jammu Mr. Vakil while addressing the gathering said When whole world is transcending and overstepping towards younger leadership with an aim of new vision of overall development, self reliance and economic forwardness, Vakil said that Congress is also looking forward and keeping pace with the world and has projected young leadership in the shape of Rahul Gandhi and country under his dynamic leadership will definitely succeed in achieving every mile stone with zeal and zest and dedication. He said that Congress is the only party who has afforded to project second line generation for national interests but on the other hand BJP is leaving no stone unturned to grab power by playing communal card in order to prevail upon common and poor masses through exploitive means and putting the development of the country at back burner. Mr. Vakil appealed the people especially younger electorate to come forward and strengthen Rahul Gandhis hands so that county falls in safe hands of next generation leadership. Former Minister and Sr. Vice President J&K PCC said that Modis slogan of Gujrat model development has proved hollow because no development on ground is visible especially in the villages of Gujrat instead corruption, nepotism, favoritism has been the agenda of Modi there to fulfill his own political ambitions. Mr. Vakil challenged BJP to compare Azads brief tenure in J&K to Gujrat or any other BJP ruled state and see that the historical and unprecedented decisions to take the state ahead in all sectors to which people cannot forget and will remember all the times. He said that people should refrain from electing a person who could not govern and manage a single state and he assured people that if Congress is voted to power issues of unemployment, safety and security of masses, transparent, corruption free system will be its prime agenda.
