Vance Garcia update: Big milestones last week! He was eating enough and gaining enough weight to have his G-tube removed, breathing well enough to have trach removed. Both wounds healing and closing. Neurologist appointment on Friday. Last surgery will be scheduled for after Thanksgiving, when he has his skull bone flap reinserted to protect his right brain. Brain swelling under control. Hes still keeping his nurses laughing, keeping that Vance sense of humor and positive attitude. He is very excited to be moving from Chatsworth to a facility in Oxnard. Our latest move day is scheduled for this Wednesday. He is excited about seeing lots of family and friends!!! He wants to rejoice with everyone!
