Varume nyika yedu yakananga kupi nhai? I am a civil servant, i joined the civil service in 2009; we were paid $122 then. It was salary without allowances. By July 2010 we were given an increment of $8 in 2011 the salary rose upto $140 and $164 in January 2012. That was our last increment during the GNU era.before the harmonised elections, were being promised heaven on earth by ZANU and its president, people were lured to vote for them. At his inauguration, Bob made the promise again and i was very happy. We were all surprised when we saw 2 pay days for our bonuses except the army and police. Now our pay day are being moved hither and thither and they didnt give us the money they were promising but they just give us peanuts. Since 2009 we just received protective clothing just 3 times in 5 years. Just imagine! I wish if we were united like the Arabs in north Africa, in Egypt they protested for 18 continous days and Mubarak resigned , in Tunisia the president ran awy, in Libya Gaddafi was murdered. We must do the same here for regime change because in Zimbabwe nyika inotorwa negidi kwete pen nepepa X haitori nyika.
