Vehicle Technician (Motor Mechanic) • Daniel Cunningham LTD • £18-20k per annum • Penrith [email protected] A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and qualified Vehicle Technician / Motor Mechanic at Autolusso, the UK’s leading independent Alfa Romeo specialist which is establishing a new branch in the Penrith area. The Role Vehicle Technician – Job Responsibilities Accurately diagnose vehicle mechanical problems Undertake vehicle servicing and general repairs Use diagnostic equipment as a matter of routine Creating and fostering a positive customer experience. Maintaining high standards or workmanship The Skills and requirements With several years’ experience in the role of a Vehicle Technician the ideal candidate will possess: - An NVQ level 3 or equivalent plus technical experience gained within the industry Familiarity with Alfa Romeo vehicles is preferable but not essential. Vauxhall or FIAT franchise dealer experience with the CDTI/JTD engines would be a benefit Ability to carry out a range of repairs from clutch replacements, timing belts and engine overhauls Ability to diagnose and repair electrical and wiring faults as required Ability to MIG weld to a good standard is preferable A can-do attitude and willingness to adapt and modify parts as required to complete jobs.
