Vent time I am so wound up...this morning was cruisy. .. rang up the docs to get Macala a script for a the sty shes gotten... Oh no u will have to come see the docter said the nurse.... that was fine 4.20 I arrived at the doctors. .. just on time for my appointment.. 10 past 5 I got seen (yeah ok I no docters can be busy n all) what pissed me off was I told my doc I rang and asked for a script for eye drops and was told I had to come in... my docter asked who said that.. and that I couldve just rang n gotten a script... so here I was rushing home with 4 kids (one whos already sick) in the freezing cold at 20 past 5 missed the pharmacy... when I couldve just gotten a script via phone n gotten her meds she needs.... but no.....now she has to wait till tomoro and her eye will be even worse by then... On a positive note tho... had my strengthening families meeting today and wen Macala does start school her current ESW can come with her to school.... the rest of the meeting tho... Me the kindy n the school dont understand. . Macala gets 12 hours of support work a week for kindy.. WHY is it she can only have 3 hours a day? Why cant we use the 12 hours how we choose... its crap... e are trying to prepare her for school so how is cutting Macalas 4 n half hours 2 xs a week to 3 hours guna help prepare her for school.... also y is it when Macala starts school the ministry will pay a support worker from 9-3 5 days a weeks but at kindy will only pay for 3 hours a day 4 4 days... its crap... I think kindy should be made compulsory for ALL children so that children like Macala can get the 20 free hours that they are entitled to And the early intervention sayin to the kindy y cant Macala be there without a ESW so she does get her 20 free hours .... well duh .... And these people go on like they no Macala better than I do..... well if they knew Macala (like they think they do) they would no y she cant attend kindy without an ESW
