Verdict Alert: Congratulations to Morgan & Morgans very own, Louis A. DeFreitas Jr and David Moffett- for obtaining a $718,000.00 jury verdict in Orange County yesterday. Our client had a cervical fusion performed as a result of the defendants negligence. Her life was forever changed through no fault of her own. Point of clarification- a jury verdict is when our peers sit in judgement of a matter and determine the fair value of the claim. A settlement occurs when the parties voluntarily pay a sum of money.
