Verdict of Court in Hrubieszow: Guilty District Court in Hrubieszow ruled against one of the workers of BSI Protection Agency hired by Chevron. Just to remind you, the verdict relates to the event that took place on the third day of protest: accused person was a driver of the car and his responsibility was to bring security guards on the site of land leased by Chevron. After dropping security guards off, he drove off and after about a hundred meters he turned in the direction of the protesters, and then moved rapidly towards them. As a result of this, one person was hit by a car; she suffered twisted knee, broken kneecap and torn tendons. The security guard was found guilty by the court and set a fine of 100 PLN. Sentenced person was released from the costs of of the this legal trial.
