The older have learned ever to expect it. Though a birth can be uncertain, death is unavoidable. When and how it will happen, nobody can predict. The important factor is what you have done during your life. Paramount Chief Dr. Kuaima Riruako What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. We know that no words can help ease the pain and loss that the OvaHerero community are feeling right now. You are in our every prayer and thought. Chief Tjirwe (before 1842) ,Chief Tjamuaha (1842–1861), Chief Maharero (1861–1890), Chief Samuel Maharero (1890–1917), Chief Hosea Kutako (1917–1970), Chief Clemens Kapuuo (1970–1978), and Chief Kuaima Riruako (1978-2014) There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in our hearts You’re all in our thoughts every step of the way as we now the Future of the OvaHerero Community are at the forefront of the drive to get repatriations and reparations from the German government for the genocide crimes committed against the our OvaHerero and Nama people during the colonial era and In all this, we will not fail you. To the Riruako Family and relatives it’s the little things, the small, everyday occurrences that youll remember. The laughs, the stories, the smiles. And even though it seems like you can never recover from your loss, it is these very memories that will help push the pain away and bring back the smiles Please accept our deepest sympathy to you and your family on the death of your father and May peace and comfort find you during this difficult time. We find solace in the knowledge that Honourable paramount Chief Dr. Kuaima Riruako , Member of Parliament , Paramount Chief OvaHerero Traditional authority and President of the NUDO Party will live forever be in our hearts, and that we have a duty to take his legacy forward. We also pay tribute to all the leaders of the OvaHerero community who kept the torch of freedom alive both at home and abroad during the most difficult times of our struggle as We were able to overcome all that pain of the past and build a new society as We continue to face challenges. Last but not least, we would like to say that each one of us should endeavour to keep the spirit of Paramount Chief Dr. Kuaima Riruako. As Africans, we are saddened by this great loss, but on the other hand, we are proud to be alive to see the maturity displayed in the smooth burial of our late Paramount Chief Dr. Kuaima Riruako . This is a clear manifestation of the level of democratic growth Namibia has attained. As from now for the OvaHerero Community the challenges before us cannot be solved by money, petty politics, disputes, controversy protests or violence all great things that were done were done by helping each other, let’s hold hands and move forward together. Some say Paramount Chief Dr. Kuaima Riruako due to his political principles he has divided the OvaHerero community and have chosen the leadership of the NUDO Party over the OvaHerero people, but Life is far too short to be spent in nursing bitterness and registering wrongs. Grudges are for those who insist that they are owed something; forgiveness, on the other hand, is for those who are confident enough to stand on their own two legs and move on, therefore let us learn to forgive others for all their wrong doings and try to correct them for their mistakes. At times like this we All need to UNITE and Let us mutually respect each other and treat others in the manner we would want to be treated by them despite our differences let us respect each other religion, political views and belief systems and remain humble and serve our community. We all know that Life is often unpredictable. Some of the great moments in our life won’t necessarily be the things we do; they’ll be things that happen to us, but we need to be our own best friend. Trust your inner spirit and follow your instincts and gain the courage to take the risks in life that would let to greatness it begins with you. To all aspiring to be the leaders of the OvaHerero Community Let us be the inspiration and motivation for others to do better and be a better servant to humanity and indeed to our OvaHerero community to the best of your abilities and contribute to the future generation of our human race. Do not lose hold of your dreams or aspirations and never never ever give up or give in something you belief even if it means standing alone. Lets us continue with the Spirit of Giving a Sense of Humanity, and A Pledge to Spread Peace & Happiness...!” Life Goes On...!” What a magnificent soul it was. We will miss him deeply.
