Verizon Wireless. Beware of their unfair, money grabbing practices. I have just experienced something that caused me to lose nearly $200. Being on auto-pay and rarely using my cell (since I have a land line) I was racking up a high balance; I called, spoke with one of their reps and she cancelled my auto pay and said to just be sure to use up the amount before a year and you wont lose your money. I had requested a credit as a result of my misunderstanding once before and was leery but since she was their rep, I trusted her. Well, I discovered a zero balance, called twice for resolution and on the 3rd call was told the resolution request was denied. Not my fault, but they refuse to credit my account, but they did offer me the choice of adding MORE money on the account and returning to auto-pay. I laughed at that offer and requested they cancel altogether. I informed this final rep that Id inform all my friends about the unfair, money grabbing practices of Verizon. I dont intend to use them ever again for anything.
