Vermilion Advantage is currently seeking career advisors to serve as mentors for Danville High School students enrolled in the Global Careers and Professions Program (GCP) - The role of the career adviser includes being a resource throughout the first half of the semester for the student as he or she works on his/her Career Interview Paper and Career Research Paper, providing assistance to the student in designing his/her semester project, providing advice throughout the semester, a location for the student to have a real-world experience in his or her career field, and an opportunity to work on, research, and complete his or her project. The Career Advisor and student determine the number of visits that will occur throughout the semester (minimum of 20 hrs.).
